Is there a fee to send crypto to someone?
Sending crypto to someone is free when the recipient accepts the payment in the same cryptocurrency (e.g., you sent them Ethereum and they also accepted the payment in Ethereum). However, if they used the Easy Swap Engine to automatically convert the payment in a different crypto, swap fees will apply.
How do I send Bitcoin to another person’s wallet?
With Ka.app, you can send Bitcoin (BTC) to another wallet in two ways.
First, you can send crypto to another Ka.app user by tapping the send icon on the app, entering the mobile number or scanning the QR code of the recipient, entering the amount of BTC you want to send, and confirming the transaction with your pin code.
Secondly, you can send crypto to an external wallet by choosing the crypto you want to send, tapping the withdraw icon, pasting their wallet address, entering the amount you want to send, and entering your pin code to confirm the transfer.
Can you send crypto directly?
Yes. Ka.app is a peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto payment app that allows users to send crypto directly to another user's digital wallet address.
Crypto transactions generally occur on a decentralized network, allowing users to send funds without intermediaries such as banks or financial institutions.
What’s the Bitcoin network fee?
A Bitcoin network fee is a small amount of BTC users pay to miners in exchange for processing and confirming their transactions on the Bitcoin network. In simpler terms, it's like a tip you give to the person who processes your transaction to ensure it goes through quickly and smoothly. The higher the fee, the faster the transaction is processed by the network. Without a network fee, your transaction might take longer to process or may not be processed at all.
The good thing is, with Ka.app, sending crypto is free (meaning there’s no network fees or transaction fees to worry about) when the recipient accepts the payment in the same currency (e.g., sent in BTC and received in BTC). However, if they accept the payment in another currency using the Easy Swap Engine, swap fees will apply. The amount varies depending on whether you’ve locked up KASTA tokens in the app or not. Those who lock up KASTA will enjoy lower swap fees as low as 0.376%.
