Ka. Cash Beta is now on Ka.app! We’re kicking off with two new features: euros and your own IBAN.
These additions will allow you to wire euros in and out of the app effortlessly, convert fiat to crypto, and make outside payments directly with your personal Ka. IBAN. More features will be available in the full version of Ka. Cash.
Excited? So are we. Let’s see all the cool stuff that’s in store for you!
Hello, Ka. Cash Beta - No Activation Fee Promo
As a welcome promo, our initial Ka. Cash Beta customers won’t have to pay for any setup or monthly fee until further notice. This means that for now, you can enjoy Ka. Cash Beta services without any additional charges.
Notifications and/or email announcements will be sent out at least four weeks prior to any changes in service charges.
Note: Ka. Cash Beta is only initially available to European Economic Area (EEA) customers.
Ka. Cash Beta Features
With our new cash features, you can use your funds however you want, and that includes being able to buy crypto with cash and using cash for cross-border payments. You can also enjoy the convenience of blockchain technology and continuously contribute to achieving global crypto adoption.
1. Euros
The Euro is the first fiat currency on Ka.app. With the beta version, you will be able to use euros for crypto to fiat conversions (and vice versa), and peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions. Sending euros to another Ka.app user is free if they also accept the payment in euros.
Euro is the official currency of 20 EU member countries, so it is very convenient for users to receive payments in euros as well.
2. IBAN
You can now activate your own Ka. IBAN which provides the ability to:
a. Pay bills with IBAN
Is your landlord hesitant to accept crypto payments? No problem! Unlike alternative crypto wallets or exchanges, with Ka. IBAN, you can pay for your rent, electricity and phone bills, as well as other payables in euros.
b. Send & receive salaries hassle-free
Ka. IBAN makes payroll much easier for you and your employer. Share your IBAN with the company and receive salaries hassle-free. It’s convenient, even for freelancers and contractors.
c. Deposit or receive euros from external IBAN
Top up euros by transferring funds from any external IBAN to your unique Ka. IBAN. This feature also allows you to receive money from family or friends who aren't using any crypto platforms. Please note that there’s a €1 fee for incoming Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) transactions.
d. Transfer funds to external IBAN users
With your own Ka. IBAN, you’ll also be able to transfer euros to external IBAN users. There’s an outgoing SEPA fee worth 0.19% of the transaction amount or a minimum of €1, whichever is greater.
e. Withdraw funds from the app
Your Ka. IBAN will make it easier for you to withdraw funds from the app and transfer them to your external IBAN.
